Church History

Holy Trinity House of Prayer was established and founded on February 2, 2009 by Elder Curtis Williams. The name of this ministry was given to Elder Williams by God two and one half years before the church was established. In addition, the following scripture was given that encompasses the vision for this ministry: “For mine house shall be called a house of prayer for all people” Isaiah 56:7. At God’s appointed time, the Holy Trinity House of Prayer Ministry was manifested in a small storefront located at 379 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills, NJ. In the fall of 2011, the Lord led Elder Williams to a beautiful church building located in Hainesport, NJ that was for sale. After several months and through some obstacles, in February 2012, the closing was held and 1617 Cottage Street, Hainesport, NJ became the new home for Holy Trinity House of Prayer.

The ministry is rooted and grounded in prayer. The doors are open to all those that are hurting, despondent, feel unloved, in despair and want a change in their lives. These same doors are open to those that are seeking a deeper and stronger relationship with the Lord. Elder Williams’s deep love for the Lord is manifested in the love and burden he has for souls. He truly believes that “Prayer Changes Things” and he has purposed in his heart that Holy Trinity House of Prayer Ministry will always be rooted and grounded in prayer

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
